The Art Institute of Chicago, Fullerton Hall

“Albert Oehlen is one of the leading abstract painters in the world, he plays in rock bands, he is highly sought after by collectors, he was featured in Artforum's summer edition on the legacy of Abstract Expressionism, and he is currently making paintings with his fingers, in his "Fingermalerei" (Finger Painting) series. The Society for Contemporary Art at the Art Institute presents a lecture from this leading German artist, a rare chance to see him speak about his work in Chicago.”
