“Accompanying the Chicago Cultural Center's exhibition Write Now: Artists & Letterforms is Fluxus Day, a full schedule of various art activities that celebrate the spirit of the art movement birthed in the 1960s. There are performances throughout the Cultural Center in unexpected places like "hallways, stairwells, and niches," as well as avant-garde poetry readings. The wide distribution of art was a key tenet of Fluxus, and they will be giving away free art from noon until the end of the event, which should be reason enough to attend.”
