“A dark comedy, emphasis on the "dark," about a couple who sells their children in an attempt to rejuvenate their relationship and live the life they covet. Red Tape Theatre's The Gingerbread House is a creepy exploration of greed, and how far we're willing to go to get what we want. Complete with trippy projections, and a chorus of singing, maybe-dead (but very talented) kids, the show offers a great transformation of Red Tape's adaptable space. Whether you see it as a story of voracious ladder-climbing or an exploration of the inventions of a twisted psyche, it'll certainly leave with plenty to think about.”
