“Barry Adamson's career as a jazz musician is as unusual as it is influential. His bass playing helped distinguish seminal post-punk outfit Magazine from their contemporaries, and his work as part of the Bad Seeds brought a whole new level of menace to Nick Cave's gothic compositions.
