Totally timely in its semi-humorous focus on class warfare and the human toll exacted by the financial crisis, My Piece of the Pie pits Stéphane (Gilles Lellouche), a ruthless, womanizing hedge-fund administrator, against France (Karin Viard), the feisty, sexy laid-off factory worker and mother of three he hires to clean his swanky Paris apartment. Director Cédric Klapisch (L'Auberge Espagnole, Russian Dolls) guides their separate stories toward a tentative merger over a toddler, but a trip to London, a night out, and a very significant revelation combine to bring the two combatants back to the proverbial barricades.
