When was the last time you enjoyed a drink with Madeleine Grynsztejn, the Director of Chicago's Museum of Contemporary Art? Or with Anthony Hirschel, the Director of the Smart Museum? The directors of these two top museums are guest bartending for the March presentation of Tom Marioni's ongoing social artwork from 1970, "The Act of Drinking Beer with Friends Is the Highest Form of Art," presented as part of the Smart's Feast exhibition (see below for future "Act" guests). Think about it this way: by drinking free beer you will be helping to build and continue culture. Sounds pretty good, doesn't it?

Held regularly since 1970, artist Tom Marioni's famous salon comes to Chicago. Guests are invited gather and drink free beer within a bar-like installation in the Smart's galleries.
