Ben Roberts is a freelance photographer based in London. Roberts studied Fine Art at the University of Edinburgh, followed by time as a globetrotting bartender, and two years studying photography at the Arts Institute, Bournemouth.
Roberts has been living and working in London since 2006 and shoots a variety of commercial work. His personal photographic endevors include essays on ice fishing in Canada, gold mining in Australia, and youth culture in the Highlands of Scotland. Roberts is represented by Picturetank in Paris and GalleryStock in London.
Roberts was shortlisted for the Foto8 Award earlier this year, and has exhibited in group shows at the Jen Bekman Gallery in New York and the Host Gallery in London. Roberts has contributed work to FlakPhoto, Dayfour magazine, The Fader, Le Monde, Io Donna magazine, and the British Journal of Photography.
