Christina Shurts' paintings have exhibited all over the west coast and abroad. Highlight exhibitions include those held at the Torrance Art Museum; LA Municapal Art Gallery at Barnsdall Park, CA; LOFT Gallery San Pedro, CA; and even the inaugural exhibition at Saatchi Gallery London. Shurts expands her studio practice with a collaborative performance partnership called the Jersey Twins, with Catherine Davis. She was born in Los Alamitos, CA, in 1977 and raised in her bicoastal hometowns of Los Alamitos, and Hemby Bridge, NC. She currently lives with her family in Long Beach, CA, in a glass house designed by architect Cliff May.
