Originally from rural Virginia, Christopher Reiger is a New York-based artist and writer. Since graduating from the MFA program at the School of Visual Arts in 2002, he has participated in numerous group exhibitions in the United States. In 2006, he had his first solo show Mongrel Truth.

Upcoming group exhibitions include Splash, at Cerasoli Gallery in Los Angeles and Animus Botanica: Boyce Cummings, Christopher Reiger & Amy Ross, at Denise Bibro Gallery, New York.

Christopher Reiger is also an art writer who contributes frequently to ArtCal, The Zine. His writing is also archived at his blog, Hungry Hyena.
