Born in 1980, D.Oram was raised along a stretch of Canada's west coast whose greatest claim to fame was the Beachcombers television series on the CBC. His childhood consisted of Transformers cartoons and tree forts, school-yard fisticuffs, and a simple, steady diet of imagination. By the end of his teenage years he was painting constantly, working full time and pushing his stuff out there. It's as simple as that.
