Dane Patterson, born in Columbus, Indiana in 1978, is a visual artist who lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. Patterson works in a number of media including drawing, collage, sound, and photography.

He is represented by The Proposition in New York, where he has had two solo shows, and Galerie Bertrand & Gruner in Geneva, Switzerland. His work has been included in group shows at Exit Art, the Spencertown Academy Arts Center, and the Brooklyn Arts Council, among others.

He received his BFA from the Herron School of Art in Indiana in 2002 and his MFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York in 2005.
