Born in Finland, raised in Los Angeles, Daria Tessler started her art career illustrating the sides of freight trains. A few trains and tunnels later, and Tessler moved to Brooklyn, where she now puts her pictures on shirts and paper, and in books and car magazines. Sure, sometimes in galleries, but also on sidewalks — you just have to know where to look.
