David Wright is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology where he received his BFA in Photography with honors in May of 2006.
Exploring photography in many avenues, David's past experiences include: assistant to John Paul Caponigro and Joyce Tenneson, co-founder of Pause, to Begin, Instructor, Digital Service Bureau Manager, and Teaching Assistant at the Maine Media Workshops, Staff Photographer for Reporter Magazine, photography department intern at Money Magazine, portrait photographer for the Heart Gallery Adoption Project, and volunteer with Poor People United.
David currently resides in Cushing, Maine, where he continues to develop Pause, to Begin and assist John Paul Caponigro.
In January 2009 David will leave for Alebtong, Uganda, where he will spend two months photographing for A River Blue, a non-profit arts empowerment project for the children of internally-displaced persons camps in Northern Uganda.
