As a third grader, Doug Boehm drew fictitious vehicles of destruction for his classmates, who paid him in candy. Soon after, Boehm graduated with a BFA in graphic design from the Tyler School of Art, and his first published work graced the pages of HOW's annual self-promotional issue. Today, Boehm's sweet rewards continue, as his talents have allowed him to flourish as an artist, illustrator, and designer. His work has been recognized by American Illustration and the Society of Illustrators, LA. He enjoys showing his fine-art work in group shows across the country. Online, he's been the featured artist on tinyshowcase.com and thumbtackpress.com. Thus, Boehm has garnered a worldwide audience as his art is collected from the UK to Australia, and has been published in the United States, Canada, Taiwan, and Costa Rica.
