Eric Lebofsky (b. 1977, Bronx, NY) is a visual artist, musician, and writer who lives and works in Chicago. He has had solo shows at Western Exhibitions in Chicago, Sears Peyton Gallery in New York, and Miller Block Gallery in Boston, and has been included in several group shows nationwide. His idiosyncratic paintings and drawings reside in numerous private collections, and his artist books are included in the collections of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. His band, Avagami, recently released their debut album, Metagami on Lens Records. Lebofsky received his BA from Columbia University in New York and his MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
