Gavin Potenza is a young communications creative living in Portland, Oregon. He studied design at Pacific Northwest College of Art, and from there became an art director at Nervo, a local design and animation studio. Potenza also contributes to Joug, a project he started with his girlfriend, Liz Meyer, more than three years ago. Last May, the collaboration made its official debut in Portland with an exhibition that developed its own visual language and used mysticism and symbolism to tell a story within a given space.
In his work, Potenza uses research and experimentation to create authentic, informed, thought-provoking visuals.
