Jenny Kendler was born in 1980 in New York City. She graduated summa cum laude with a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2002 and in 2006 received a MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She currently lives and works in Chicago.

Kendler's work has been exhibited at the Contemporary Artists Center of Massachusetts, Ellen Curlee Gallery in St. Louis, Plant Zero in Richmond, estudiotres and Kasia Kay Art Projects in Chicago, and the Baltimore Museum of Art. Kendler will be participating in a group show in Dublin in late May.
