Jeremy Kidd
Cover for Issue 269
Los Angeles
Issue 269 April 22, 2008

Jeremy Kidd is a British-born, LA-based artist/photographer who has shown at Orange County Museum of Art and the Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art. Kidd has exhibited solo shows at the Laguna Museum of Art, Susanne Vielmetter Los Angeles Projects, Littlejohn Contemporary Gallery (NY), Scott Richards Contemporary Art (SF), and Barbara Davies Gallery (TX). His works have been reviewed by the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, artUS, Artweek, Art Ltd., and artnet. Kidd has taught at the California Institute of the Arts and the Otis College of Art and Design. He currently has a solo show at the UCR/California Museum of Photography called Hyper Architectural Typologies.

In honor of BMW's 1 Series — a reincarnated, improved version of BMW's classic 1968 sport sedan — Flavorpill has selected five photographers to capture their cities' distinct architectural landscapes. Each photographer highlights the dichotomy between the past and the future, evoking each city's pure, unshakable essence in his own unique style. Check out the full versions of the work here.
