Jimmie James is a New York City-based artist and musician. James has been showing his art in galleries throughout America and Europe since 1985. He has done paintings for many CD covers including one for Nina Simone.

Jimmie James' songs have been included in the Amos Poe film Empire ll and the play Everythings Turning Into Beautiful. Listen to his music on his MySpace page.
