Joshua Paul was born in Fresno, CA and currently lives in Brooklyn, NY. He received his BFA in photography from Art Center College of Design and his BA in Creative Writing from the University of Washington.In 1999, he was featured in PDN Magazine in an article titled “Rising Star.”

His portfolios of photographs taken on trips to Iceland and Cuba gained him immediate recognition and helped land him feature assignments for Outside, Travel & Leisure, and Saveur. Since then, Joshua has traveled to over 500 cities in 65 countries and is well known for his adventurous assignments. He has won several awards from Communication Arts, American Photography, SPD, Ozzie & Eddie, as well as Time's magazine of the year award for photography.

Joshua Paul's work is featured in a joint exhibition at Clark | Oshin Gallery's Miracle Mile location at the Icon, 5450 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA. An opening reception is scheduled for September 19, 2009 from 6-9pm. The exhibition will continues through November 14.
