Cody Cloud was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. Julia Galdo was born and raised in Miami, Florida. They met in 2002 at the San Francisco Art Institute, Cody graduating with an MFA in photography and Julia with her BFA. Their ability to work well together was apparent within the first month of their friendship.

Cody has been working in Los Angeles since graduation in 2005. His latest body of work involves the Shanghai Zoo and its dilapidation.

Julia worked in San Francisco in advertising while simultaneously hustling a photography career on the side. Her work often involves the documentation between a subject and their interaction in an environment.

The two can be found at the beach, looking through the windows of abandoned buildings, or browsing the racks at the thrift shop.
