Brooklyn-based artist Marc Swanson was born in New Britton, Connecticut.

Swanson received his MFA from the Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts at Bard College, Annandale-on-Hudson, New York.

He has exhibited internationally in shows including The Triumph of Painting at the Saatchi Gallery in London, No Big Cowboy Can Do The Little Things I Do at Julia Friedman Gallery in Chicago, God Bless The Children Of The Beast at Tensta Konsthall in Stockholm, and Yes ruce Nauman at Zwirner & Wirth in New York. He is represented by Bellwether Gallery in New York.

Joe Mama-Nitzberg has had an extensive and varied career in the arts and media. He received an MFA from Art Center College of Design in 1995. His art, which includes fine-art photography, film, and video, has been exhibited in galleries and museums in the US and abroad, and is in the permanent collection of the Walker Center of Art in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Turning to the world of Music in 1997, he became the Creative Director for Interscope/Geffen/A&M in Los Angeles and Arista Records in New York City.

Most recently Mr. Mama-Nitzberg has turned to focus on his longtime fascination with fashion photography. His clients include the New York Times, SOMA magazine, MCT Management, and Kenneth Cole.

Currently, Mr. Mama-Nitzberg is a member of the faculty of the Clive David Department of Recorded Music at New York University.
