Mike Mitchell received a BFA in illustration from the American Academy of Art in 2006. He is currently employed by The Workshop, a video-game studio in Culver City, California.

As an illustrator, Mitchell's clients include Penguin Group, Threadless, GamePro, ImagineFX, and the Santa Fe Reporter. His work has been featured in numerous exhibitions, most recently in the i am 8-bit show in Hollywood. He presents a new piece at Hollywood's World of Wonder on Thursday, October 23. Mitchell also has his own t-shirt and print company that he runs with his wife, Lauren.
