Ola Bell

Ola Bell was born in Poland, moved to the UK in 2000, and is currently based in Bedfordshire, England. She started studying photography at Aylesbury College in 2005 and began taking photographs with a borrowed Zenit film camera. Within a year she moved into the digital world and hasn't looked back.

 

Her photos have an abstract feel and regularly involve things in her everyday life — including pets — in surreal situations. Her photography is not just documenting a life, but capturing the state of her mind and exploring her identity.
