Rengim Mutevellioglu was born in 1991 in Moscow, Russia. Though Turkish by law, Rengim considers herself a citizen of the world. While living in New York City at the age of 11, she began photographing her surroundings as a means of remembrance. She slowly started recording moments from her own life and others', mixing her photographs with other artistic techniques. Currently, Rengim attends the French High School in Ankara, Turkey, and regularly showcases her work at galleries such as Karousel in Bucharest, Romania.
