Drawing inspiration from films like Beat Street and Wild Style, Rinze van Brug's love of art began at a young age. Graffiti and drawing were his first methods of expression, and Rinze worked commercially in Amsterdam while continuing to work on his personal projects. At 19, Rinze purchased his first computer and began exploring digital art and design. While attending school, Rinze excelled in graphic design and photography and entered the world of advertising upon graduation. To work through his ideas with clients, he would create sketches of potential photographs and, in doing so, realized his true passion was photography and design. Each photograph shows Rinze's ability to capture the moment, the pose, or the scene as he brings his photographs to life. Rinze now lives and works in New York City.
