Steve Simpson has been illustrating for major ad and design companies for more than 15 years. His characters have appeared on everything from postage stamps to 48 sheets, packaging to gourmet pies and much more besides. In recent years he has also been illustrating children's books.

In 2008, Simpson won Gold in the Association of Illustrators Images 32 awards for his PurePie branding. He was also a 3x3 magazine No.5 winner.
