Katie Paterson makes her debut in an American museum with her FOCUS exhibition at the Modern. Paterson's work generally tackles notions of the micro and macro, evoking the relationship between a star and the limitless sky, for example; or a single drop of water in the immense ocean; or a person and his or her connection to the infinite universe.
