“Radiohead's 1997 album OK Computer catapulted the band to iconic status; the Oxford boys' superhuman creativity, well-documented in the film Meeting People Is Easy, then drove them to take more chances with subsequent releases Kid A, Amnesiac, and Hail to the Thief. The band's revolutionary move was giving the proverbial finger to the dying music industry model in 2007, with its independent, name-your-own-price release of In Rainbows. They also released The King of Limbs digitally through their website in February of last year, and Monday night, they stop off in Dallas during their first Stateside tour since 2008 at the American Airlines Center.”
