A Hundred Years, based in downtown’s Arts District, is a consultancy that aims to gather thoughts and organizations that really matter. This Thursday, they’re hosting a new event, 10x10, which bills itself as “a night of rapid-fire presentations” aimed at converging business with the greater good. A gathering featuring talks of no more than ten minutes each by individuals including Jonathan Mooney, President and founder of Eye to Eye, a nonprofit dedicated to helping students with learning differences; Tara Kolla, founder of organic micro farm (truly tiny, it takes up less than an acre) Silver Lake Farms; Evan Kirkpatrick, an entrepreneur who focuses on philanthropy and capital strategies; and Jon Miller, co-founder of Hive Lighting, specialists in high-efficiency, money-saving lighting for TV and film. After the talks, mingle and sip some wine and local beer while listening to A Hundred Years’ in-house DJ, Aaron Davis.
