A free exhibit of gorgeous movie costumes, highlighted by a selection from Anna Karenina (2012)
FIDM Museum and Galleries' yearly salute to the artistry of costume design is returning. Over 100 outstanding costumes from the films of 2013 will be on display, including selections from the Academy Award nominees for Best Costume Design. The face-framing furs and frocks Jacqueline Durran designed for Anna Karenina are a standout, constructed with luxurious fabrics and exquisite details. This not-to-be-missed display of imagination and glamour opens on February 11 and will be on view until April 26.
