AWARENESS FILM FESTIVAL
The Awareness Film Festival is a dynamic festival that promotes the awareness of world issues. Combining a fusion of filmmakers, artists, environmentalists, educators, alternative health practitioners and other industry professionals, the Awareness Film Festival aims to inspire the public through this engaging, entertaining and unique annual event in the film capital of the world.
Film categories at the festival include but are not limited to: green and eco-friendly living, alternative fuel, veterans’ issues, animal awareness, political topics, preserving nature, alternative healing options, stories of hope, healthcare issues, the arts, spirituality and much more.
The Awareness Film Festival awarenessfestival.org is a fundraising event in Los Angeles that showcases films that deal with the world’s pressing issues. Proceeds from the festival primarily benefit the non-profit organization 501(c)3 Heal One World healoneworld.org. This Los Angeles-based foundation offers alternative treatments to low-income and underserved demographics. Heal One World seeks to educate people about preventative health care, non-traditional/complementary modalities, natural non-invasive treatments and self-help techniques for the body, mind and soul. In 2012, it was rated a Top Nonprofit by GreatNonprofits.
