Glamour goddess and fashion icon Dita Von Teese brings fans her newest, most lavish show.
Celebrate Valentine's week with the biggest name in burlesque since Gypsy Rose Lee. Glamour icon Dita Von Teese performs her latest and most luxe show, Burlesque: Strip, Strip Hooray, at the House of Blues for four nights. This dazzling 90-minute revue features lavish sets and costumes and four of Dita's most jaw-dropping performances. Known for entertaining inside an oversized martini glass, Dita works with her newest and most decadent prop yet: an Art Deco-style glass emblazoned with over a quarter of a million Swarovski crystals. Also included in the show: Dita's "Rhinestone Cowgirl" set, spinnin' spurs, Christian Louboutin cowboy boots and all. Dita invited several other top burlesque performers to join Strip Strip Hooray: seductress Dirty Martini, crowned Miss Exotic World in 2004; international star Perle Noire, known as the second coming of Josephine Baker; Lady Nikolska of the famed Crazy Horse in Paris; self-described “roguish operatic dandy” Prince Poppycock; and Duke Lafayette with his prop, a golden mannequin leg he calls Desiree. It’s certain to be a provocative evening of sophisticated titillation.
