David Sedaris' wit and trenchant social critique have made him something of a rock star satirist
David Sedaris is more than just a humor writer. His wit and trenchant social critique have made him something of a rock star American satirist. Each of his personal essay collections — Naked, Me Talk Pretty One Day, Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim, and When You Are Engulfed in Flames — was a bestseller. His last book, Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk: A Modest Bestiary (with illustrations by Ian Falconer), released in September 2010, immediately made the New York Times bestseller list for fiction. Sedaris, who resides in London, comes to the War Memorial Opera House for one night only, just ahead of his highly anticipated new collection Let's Explore Diabetes with Owls.
