Trailblazing Parisian graffiti artist now working on fine art presents his 1st US show @ WeHo's PDC.
French artist Barzolff, aka David Nicolas, brings "Art by the Gram," a relaunch of his previous show "Barzolff: ...Write a book about WHAT?" to West Hollywood. Barzolff began his art career as a trailblazing Parisian graffiti artist going by the nom de can Numéro 6, creating street art now regarded as iconic and highly influential. He went on to study animation but still couldn’t resist the urge to spray walls. In 2007 he created a series of hoax videos that went viral - depicting UFOs hovering above Haiti and the Dominican Republic cities, they were so realistic, some people still refuse to believe it was a put-on. Barzolff went on to much-lauded work in the music video and advertising industries, eventually rejecting what he came to regard as “soul sucking,” retreating to a quiet life in Burgundy to work on fine art.
