Bibigo is a modern Korean bistro with locations in Beverly Hills, Westwood, and Century City. If you haven’t tried them yet, why not do so on the occasion of their first year in Los Angeles? Their signature Bibimbap is a must-have. It’s a popular Korean rice, vegetable, and meat dish, served with Bibigo’s distinctive sauces made with spices brought over from Korea. The Hot Stone Rice Bimimbap is especially tasty, particularly with black rice and topped with an egg. Bibigo’s Korean-style tapas are a great way to taste many types of Korean dishes. Standouts include the Seafood Pancake; Black Rice Croquettes brimming with chunks of scallops, squid and shrimp; the melt-in-your-mouth Braised Spicy Cod; the savory Braised Short Rib, the Golden Garlic Brussel Sprouts, and the Spicy Pork Wrap. Craving a beer? They serve Hite, naturally, along with a few craft beers. Bibigo’s cocktail list is a good one, with high marks going to the Korea Pear (Soju, gin, elderflower liqueur, fresh lemon, and nashi pear), the Cucumber Season (tequila, cucumber, sesame leaves, agave nectar, and aloe vera juice), and the Sangria made with Korean raspberry wine and fresh fruit.
