A multi-night, multi-venue electronic music takeover
If you live in the Brooklyn area and are any kind of electronic music fan, clear your calendar; we just figured out your weekend. Expanding to three nights for its sixth edition, the MeanRed-produced Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival (BEMF) is taking over six Williamsburg venues, including Output, Music Hall of Williamsburg, Glasslands, 285 Kent, Cameo and Villain, for this year's sonic debauchery. Featuring performances by Star Slinger, Actress, Todd Terje, The Magician, Danish producer Kasper Bjørke and more, electronic music devotees may want to invest in a BEMF three-day pass (which also gets you access to a pre-party on Thursday). New to the program for 2013 is a spot for under-agers to get in on this fest's positive vibe; all shows at 285 Kent are all ages.
