A night market, art fair, food festival and music venue rolled into one!
After shoppers came in droves last year (there were literally lines around the block), the Brooklyn Night Bazaar returns, this time taking permanent root in Greenpoint. Housed in a 24,000 sq. ft. warehouse bedazzled with light installations by Nuit Blanche New York, the Southeast Asian-inspired nighttime market delivers an eclectic mix of independent artists, crafters, breweries, chefs, and designers. In addition to shopping and feasting, goers can challenge friends (or strangers) to table tennis or mini golf on a 9-hole course. And if all that wasn't enough, the bazaar is partnering with media, music blogs and record labels to provide musical entertainment each night. Some of the acts slated to perform include Spank Rock, Small Black, Frankie Rose and Psychic TV. It's the perfect solution for those that want to shop but don't want to cramp their lifestyle.
