Bike around 7.5 miles of a car-free Downtown LA. Music, food, open houses, museum tours, & more.
The Heart of LA will once again pulse with the energy of CicLAvia as the car-free program returns to Downtown Los Angeles. More than 150,000 people will engage with the historic city center, cultural districts, businesses and each other in ways that aren’t possible in a car.
CicLAvia: Heart of LA will encompass 7.5 miles of city streets. The route will take participants to Chinatown, the Piñata District, the Historic Core, Boyle Heights, South Los Angeles, Westlake and MacArthur Park, Little Tokyo, Central Avenue and Grand Park/Civic Center.
CicLAvia: Heart of LA will connect participants with downtown by foot, bike, skates or other non-motorized transport. The day will feature music, food, open houses, museum tours and more. The October 6 program is the eighth CicLAvia to take place since 2010. Five of the previous CicLAvias have taken place downtown, but this is the first in 2013.
