1st COCA Benefit Brunch & Art Sale in 2014 to support the work of the UCSF Alliance Health Project.
Start 2014 by making a difference! Join us for our first Benefit event on Sunday, January 19. Enjoy fabulous food and drink, unique art, and help us contribute to a worthy cause. After a successful 2013, COCA wishes to celebrate by giving back to the community and host a Brunch and Art Sale with Silent Auction to benefit the UCSF Alliance Health Project (AHP). Their services support the mental health and wellness of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ), and HIV-affected communities in constructing healthy and meaningful lives. Although 2013 has been a landmark year with advances in many important areas affecting the LGBTQ communities, there is still much need.
To alleviate this need COCA will donate Ticket Sales and Silent Auction proceeds to AHP as well as 30% from the Art Sales during the event. Many artists have donated artwork and the participating COCA artists Katerina Connearney, Raymond Difley, Linda P. Donohue, Jennifer Bec Hirshfield, Hilla Hueber, Catherine McCauley, Misho, Julia Rymer, and Mylette Welch will be presenting unique pieces at Misho Gallery. You can see samples of their work here: http://coca-art.com/coca-artists/ and also find the artists' individual websites. Details about the event are here: http://coca-art.com/category/coca-events/
Bring your friends, leisurely browse the Silent Auction, and place your bids while engaging with art patrons, collectors, donors, and COCA artists at Misho Gallery and nurture your own creativity while enjoying fabulous food and drink, and inspiring conversation. Make the most of this opportunity and make a difference! Tickets are $20 until December 31, $25 thereafter. Buy tickets here: http://bit.ly/1kfAGNK
