A fest of interdisciplinary works and performances produced by FIAF
Consistently a highlight of the Fall cultural arts calendar, Crossing the Line returns with its seventh edition. Produced by the French Institute Alliance Francaise (FIAF), this refreshing interdisciplinary festival steers the willing to new, uncharted and often provocative territories. From the Invisible Dog Center in Brooklyn to the Gallery at Hermes, Times Square to the Tinker Auditorium, this festival's creative roar is set to be heard across the city. Standouts of the program include the latest installments in the Nature Theater of Oklahoma's Life and Times series; Pascal Rambert's a (micro) history of world economics, danced; and Fanny de Chaillé's interactive The Library, which takes place in a library and allows visitors to choose the stories they want to hear.
