Hear the curious sounds of Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti at Don Bolles' club Ding-A-Ling.

When Ariel Pink was discovered by the members of Animal Collective, he was recording songs out of his house using an 8-track tape recorder. Inspired by R. Stevie Moore (aka the Godfather of home recording), he started writing music at age ten and since then his sound has evolved into '60s-inspired freak-folk rock. Though Pink is not particularly proficient at playing any instruments, he has been known to create drum sounds using his mouth and sometimes an armpit. Hear the curious sounds at the Echo Country Outpost, which also hosts a record-release party for Dream Boys, courtesy of DJs Jimi Hey and host Don Bolles.
