Canadian novelist Coupland discusses his new novel with author and veteran interviewer Neil Strauss.
In this rare L.A. appearance, Canadian novelist and visual artist Douglas Coupland discusses his new novel, Worst. Person. Ever., with author and veteran interviewer Neil Strauss (The Game, Everyone Loves You When You’re Dead: Journeys into Fame and Madness). Coupland is known for work that synthesizes high and low culture and that examines how modern technology impacts human existence. He first rose to fame with his debut novel, the 1991 bestseller Generation X: Tales for an Accelerated Culture, which helped to popularize terms like “Generation X” and “McJob.” This latest novel is a hilariously funny satire that chronicles the adventures of an inexplicably likeable antihero. A Q&A and book signing follow the program.
