Tour Hollywood's very first movie palace, built in 1922

Sid Grauman's first Hollywood movie palace, the Egyptian Theatre, opened in 1922 and was the site of many grand movie premieres, including Hollywood's very first - Douglas Fairbanks' "Robin Hood." The exteriors and the scarab-adorned theater ceiling have been preserved to reflect the Egyptomania so prevalent at the time, and areas of the theater normally closed to patrons are shown during this tour. Followed by cocktails at the nearby Pig and Whistle or Musso and Frank's, it's the perfect classic-Hollywood outing.
