A show of erotically feminine photos by top photographer Ellen von Unwerth.
Photographer Ellen von Unwerth is known for the erotic, hyper-feminine images she creates for magazines such as Vogue and Vanity Fair. She shot to fame in 1989, when the Brigitte Bardot-influenced Guess ads she shot with then-unknown model Claudia Schiffer earned worldwide attention. Her newest show of photographs, “Made in America,” reflects her obsession with such American icons as Marilyn Monroe, Bettie Page, Lolita, and Barbie. Kate Upton, Madonna, Jennifer Lawrence, Rihanna, Evan Rachel Wood, Jessica Chastain, Elizabeth Olsen, and Paz de la Huerta are just some of the models she shot for this group of pictures. Meet the Paris-based photographer when she visits LA for the reception for “Made in America” on November 7.
Opening reception, 7-9pm on November 7.
