The forthcoming US Tour will mark Ennio Morricone’s first ever performance in Los Angeles, the American capital of TV and film. This environment is perfect to host Morricone’s performance, with his 50+ years in the motion picture industry and unsurpassable reputation as one of the greatest composers of our time. He is widely respected by actors, directors, producers and artists in the community, and will be warmly welcomed for this first-time performance.

In addition to the high demand for Morricone’s return to the US, this show proves to be instrumental in enriching Americans with the culture and tradition of classic Italian music. Many Americans have grown up on Morricone’s compositions, through popular television and film, but now have the opportunity to see them performed live in a unique and impressive setting. Attention will be focused on his long list of movie scores, from the 60’s until present day, and on the mixture between classic and pop music which are Morricone’s traits.

Los Angeles is the ideal environment for a concert of this caliber. Complete with a 200 member orchestra and choir, Morricone will grace the Nokia Theatre with the same infamous music that set the tone for some of Hollywood’s most beloved films. The synchronicity of watching Maestro Morricone perform live just miles from where many of these movies were shot is sure to bring the LA audience full circle in movie magic. Additionally, Morricone has been honored by the Academy and received a Lifetime Achievement award at the Oscars in LA.
