Only among the living for a mere 37 years (he died in 1982), Fassbinder completed nearly 40 feature-length films, all of which will find their way to the big screen during this two part program. A controversial figure who often landed in the news for this provocative remarks during interviews, Fassbinder dabbled in many genres, including melodramas, gangster movies, literary adaptations and even sci-fi.
