This first annual celebration of Fisherman's Wharf features fireworks, food, live music, and more
Fisherman's Wharf is throwing the ultimate celebration this October. Come to the inaugural Wharf Fest, a free festival on October 26 and 27, to celebrate the legacy of San Francisco's historic waterfront district and enjoy a chowder competition, live music, food & wine, art, craft beer tasting, a chef's demonstration kitchen, children's activities and rides, and more. Saturday will be topped off with a screening of the award-winning films from last year's San Francisco International Ocean Film Festival at the Bay Theater and a spectacular fireworks show at PIER 39.
Wharf Fest marks milestone occasions for Fisherman's Wharf such as PIER 39's 35th Anniversary and the 50th Anniversary of Hyde Street Pier's public opening.
Family-friendly entertainment will extend throughout Fisherman's Wharf, on Jefferson and Beach Streets from Ghirardelli Square to PIER 39. Several blocks of Jefferson Street will be closed for pedestrian-only access and special exhibitors including Fisherman's Wharf merchants, local artists, and seafood restaurants.
