If your taste buds are yearning to expand beyond the prosaicness of a beef burger, you might want to check out the new Game Changer menu at Burger Lounge. Boar burger? Check. Grass-fed Elk burger? Yep. Grass-fed Bison? Oh, yeah. They’re all quite tasty, though the favorite at a preview in late September was deemed the boar burger, a rich, lightly gamey piece of porcine deliciousness sandwiched between two buns (you can also opt for the gluten-free bun or a lettuce wrap), and accented with crispy onion rings, smoked mozzarella and house-made BBQ sauce. The elk is grass-fed and is deliciously offset by jicama slaw, chipotle aioli, and some crispy pork belly. Another plus: the West Hollywood location has free parking. Free parking on the Sunset Strip? Believe it.
