This BAFTA-nominated biopic about Belfast’s godfather of punk is finally receiving its New York premiere. Good Vibrations tells the story of Terri Hooley (Richard Dormer), a rebel and music lover in war-torn 1970s Belfast who decides to a open a record shop in the most bombed half-mile of Europe. Directed by Lisa Barros D’Sa and Glenn Leyburn, this crowd pleaser even has Roger Daltrey and Bono singing its praises. If you’re looking for a heart warmer, this should do the trick.
